Ki Power Demonstration

Sensei Wasyl Kolesnikov 7th Dan demonstrates examples of power of mind. To do these exercises one has to be relaxed and focused. During the Aikido techniques Sensei is showing two big principles in Aikido. Irimi - which means to enter, go straight (but not clash). Tenkan - which means to turn. This helps to dissipate the power. Sensei Kolesnikov has a new book available, "Return to the Source".

Speaking at the Professional Speakers Association

Sensei Wasyl Kolesnikov gave a presentation at the Professional Speakers Association. In the presentation he talks about his past and Aikido. He also uses members of the audience to demonstrate special Ki exercises.

Weapons Demonstrations in Aikido (2 videos)

Aikido Weapons Demonstration

Aikido weapons, Bokken (wooden sword), Jo (wooden staff) as taught in the Kolesnikov School (KSMBDA). Weapons help to extend our Ki power (energy) further. We look at weapons as an art form to show flow, control, skill, beauty and power. Our aim is to stop, not to hit. Anyone can hit, but not everyone can stop - this requires skill and practise. Make no mistake, the smoother it is - the more powerful it is.

Aikido Weapons Demonstration Part II

The Universe has no limits to express its flow. By tuning into the Universe through meditation, breathing and mind, body and spiritual work we can become inspired to develop more skills to express this energy in many varied ways.

Principles of Aikido and Ki (9 videos)

Principles of Circles & Spirals

Sensei Wasyl Kolesnikov 7th Dan National and International teacher of Aikido and Infinite Tai Chi demonstrates circles and spirals. Included in the video is work with a Jo, 2 man attack, 4 man attack, rolling, 2 man attacking Jo and a tenkan harmony exercise. Filmed after a Kolesnikov's School Of Mind & Body Development with Aikido class.

Circles & Spirals Part II

Develop and enjoy your skills. Music by Guy Gardner and Lee Miller.

Movement in calmness, calmness in movement

Infinite Tai Chi as taught by Jason Chan from the Light Foundation. A Universal dance - showing beauty and balance. You work with Universal Principles. The Universe works through you. The Universe is a beautiful place if you know how to look at it. Wasyl Kolesnikov teaches Infinite Tai Chi in Oldham on Tuesdays from 6pm - 7pm.

Smoother movements, greater power

Ki Aikido is taught in the Kolesnikov's School (KSMBDA). Energy flow is shown (that which you don't see) first. This is developed by our Aikido (the way of harmony with Ki) and mind and body development movements. The smoother the movements are - the more powerful they are. When we are relaxed - dynamically our energy flows freely. Principles are being shown through all the clips. We learn to flow WITH the power, not against it.

The Way Of Harmony with Ki

In the movement there is a lot of co-ordination and a lot of skill. Creativity is expressed through the mind and through the body. By linking with the Universe through meditation, breathing and energy work we are open to the unlimited potential in our practice, and in our life.

Energy Flow Demonstration

Sensei Wasyl Kolesnikov 7th Dan National and International teacher of Aikido and Infinite Tai Chi demonstrates how the energy flows through Aikido techniques. Filmed after a Kolesnikov's School Of Mind & Body Development with Aikido and Tai Chi class.

Relating Ki to Aikido

Ki Power - Develop more of your "inner power" and apply it to Aikido techniques. Then apply it into your daily life.

Demonstrating double light staff and double poi

Patterns become more complex and beautiful. We are only limited by our own imagination and practise.

Harmony with the Universe

Sensei Wasyl Kolesnikov will soon be making his 40 years experience in mind and body development available as a 12 month DVD course. This course will enable you to develop your mind and body in the comfort of your own home. For more information please visit www.harmony-with-the-universe.co.uk.
